About the Exhibition

The James Library Building, home of the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts, was once filled with books. The ART of books: Taking the Page Beyond the Press, brings back to the building a collection of different kinds of books - ones that do not necessarily use words to convey the message.

About the Artists

The Book Arts Roundtable was established to encourage the love of book and paper arts as well as to create a forum for the exchange of ideas and information about books.

About the Museum

Housed in a 1900 Richardsonian-Romanesque Revival building listed on the National Register of Historic places, the Museum explores 18th- and 19th-century American history, with a focus on New Jersey.

The ART of books will run through November 2015.
